We provide a stimulating, creative, broad and varied curriculum which gives all of our children the opportunity to learn from a wide range of experiences, including visits out of school and bringing visitors and specialists in to school from the wider community to really bring learning to life.  We believe all children should be taught in a way which helps them enjoy learning and which will extend their knowledge, experience, imagination and creativity.

Through our teaching and their learning we hope your child will:

Develop basic skills of reading, writing and mathematics.

Learn to research and record information.

Express themselves clearly and confidently in speaking and writing.

Have practical experience of using technology.

Listen carefully and understand what they hear.

Acquire agility and physical co-ordination

Explore music, drama, art and movement.

Become aware of and tolerant towards people and other races, religions, ages and abilities.

Understand the geography, history and environment of the area in which they live and the way this relates to the wider world.

In addition to the normal school day, we provide a range of extra-curricular activities which take place either at lunchtime or at the end of the school day.
